DID YOU KNOW?

The right specialized paddle is important, to ensure that your mixture is flawless and that no material defects or deficiencies occur later. Here you will find valuable professional tips for mixing of creamy materials:

TILE ADHEXIVE

It serves as a carrier of floor or wall tiles and should be mixed particularly thoroughly - because if because if tile adhesive is processed incorrectly, defects can cause high repair costs afterwards.
  • Tile adhesive is available in bag form. For wall or floor tiles, there are different adhesives that meet the respective requirements.
  • Fill a bucket first with water and then with the powder. Mix evenly with the MIXBRO and the Collomix® Paddle KR until the desired consistency is reached. (depending on the type of adhesive).
  • For an optimal, lump-free result, it is important that the material is mixed completely. With the KR paddle, you can quickly achieve a homogeneous and smooth adhesive mass. Well-mixed material also remains open longer and can therefore be processed longer. It is also important to observe the maturing time of the mixture, then mix again.

FILLERS

is used to smooth surfaces and seal cracks - for example, when new pipes are laid under plaster or drywall elements are inserted.
  • On which substrate do you want to apply the filler? In the case of non-absorbent or highly absorbent surfaces, it may be necessary to apply an appropriate primer beforehand.
  • Work should be carried out at temperatures between 5°C - approx. 30°C. The warmer it is, the faster the filler hardens and becomes unusable.
  • Mix the filler with the MIXBRO and the Collomix® KR stirring rod. It is better to use a little less water and dilute afterwards, to avoid the formation of lumps.
